I’ve been playing around with the software used to make video games, and using it to do some ArchVis projects in my spare time. I have a couple of projects on the boil, but here is the first one I’ve actually finished – it’s a model of my flat.
The software is great: using a mouse and keyboard to control exactly where you are within the space and what you see, it makes it possible to do real time near photo-quality walk-throughs that are different every time.
Unlike watching a video you are able to go anywhere, interact with objects and focus on details. I’ll be posting the interactive files on my downloads page soon, so that you can test it for yourself.

I’m pretty pleased with the results, and have some interesting projects using the same system in the pipeline – watch this space…
